Assistive Technology Training
Software & hardware training for disabled users
I support individuals with a range of physical, mental and learning disabilities.
I support students who have been awarded
DSA
provision and employees who are receiving
Access to Work
grants.
I am certified in a range assistive technology software and hardware which will make studies/work easier.
When you are trained by me I carry out a training needs analysis and identify your learning styles which allows me to tailor training to your individual needs. I provide guides to back up your learning and links to further materials and videos to ensure that, after I leave, you can revisit any skills we have covered. I give ongoing support by email or Skype if you need it once you start using your software. I want to ensure that you get the best from your software and use it to improve your productivity and skills.
As a qualified teacher I can also work with school aged children and their parents to recommend software, hardware, features and apps which can be used to support students with SpLD (specific learning difficulties)
